UPSC photo and signature resizer
Get your photo and three-signature image into the KB range UPSC's online form accepts.
What UPSC asks for
| File | File size | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Photo | 20–200 KB, JPG | Colour, plain white background, face covers at least 75% |
| Signature | 20–100 KB, JPG | Three signatures stacked one under the other, as one image |
The three-signature rule catches many candidates out: a single signature is rejected. Sign three times down a sheet of white paper, photograph it, and crop so all three fit.
For 2026, UPSC also takes a live photo during the application and matches it against your uploaded photo, so upload a recent photo that looks like you do now.
These sizes come from recent notifications and can change from one year to the next. Before you upload, compare them with the photo and signature section of your exam's official notification, and use Change size or format to adjust if it differs.

Is it safe?
Yes. Your photo and signature are processed by your own browser and never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see them. Saving a new copy also removes hidden camera data, such as the GPS location where the photo was taken.
