Exam and job forms
Signature resizer
Photograph your signature, crop it, and get a clean JPG inside the KB limit your form asks for.
How to resize a signature
- Sign in black ink on plain white paper. Leave space around it.
- Take a photo straight from above in good light, or scan it.
- Choose what the form wants from the list, then drag and zoom so the signature fills the frame.
- Press Download. The file is a JPG inside the size range shown.
Clean up turns grey paper and shadows white and makes the ink darker, so the signature stays readable even at 10 KB. Turn it off if your form wants the photo exactly as taken.
Why forms reject signatures
- File too big or too small. Many forms set a minimum as well as a maximum, for example 10–20 KB. A tiny signature can come out under 10 KB, so this tool adds blank filler data to reach the minimum without changing the picture.
- Wrong shape. A signature cropped too loosely ends up small and hard to read. Zoom in until it fills the box.
- Unreadable. Blue ink on lined or coloured paper often fails. Use black ink on white paper.
- Capital letters. SSC and several other boards reject signatures written in capitals.
These sizes come from recent notifications and can change from one year to the next. Before you upload, compare them with the photo and signature section of your exam's official notification, and use Change size or format to adjust if it differs.

Is it safe?
Yes. Your photo and signature are processed by your own browser and never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see them. Saving a new copy also removes hidden camera data, such as the GPS location where the photo was taken.
