The 10–20 KB range is the usual rule for signatures on exam and job forms. Get a JPG inside it straight away.

How it works

3. If the result is under 10 KB, it's topped up to the minimum.
4. Press Download.

Signatures are small, plain images, so they often compress to well under 10 KB, and forms with a minimum reject them. This tool keeps the highest quality that fits under 20 KB and, if the file is under 10 KB, adds blank filler data to reach it. For a signature, the signature resizer also crops it and whitens the paper.

Is it safe?

Yes. Your photo and signature are processed by your own browser and never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see them. Saving a new copy also removes hidden camera data, such as the GPS location where the photo was taken.
