Compress an image to between 20 and 50 KB

Many forms reject a photo under 20 KB as well as over 50 KB. This gets you a JPG inside the range every time.

How it works

2. The tool finds the highest quality that fits under 50 KB.
3. If the result is under 20 KB, it's topped up to the minimum.
4. Press Download.

Exam and job portals such as SSC, IBPS and state recruitment boards often ask for a photo of 20–50 KB. Shrinking a phone photo is easy, but small, plain photos can drop below 20 KB. When that happens, this tool adds blank filler data to reach the minimum, without changing the picture.

Is it safe?

Yes. Your photo and signature are processed by your own browser and never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see them. Saving a new copy also removes hidden camera data, such as the GPS location where the photo was taken.
