Etsy listing photo size: 2700 × 2025
Etsy recommends listing photos at least 2000 pixels on the shortest side in a 4:3 or square shape; 2700 × 2025 pixels is a popular 4:3 size. Search results and your shop page show a cropped thumbnail, so keep the product in the middle. Pick a picture and drag it to frame it.

Is it safe?
Yes. The photo is opened and resized by your own browser. It is never uploaded to a server, so nobody else can see it, and it works even if you go offline after the page has loaded. Saving a new copy also removes hidden camera data (EXIF), such as the GPS location where the photo was taken.
